本方案秉承遵循当地文化，力求做到用简洁、现代的概念去阐述当地特色，建筑单体改造设计从平面恪局、立面造型到建筑空间，均融合了传统建筑元素与现代建筑符号，营造独特的匠造所建筑形象。
内装设计上考虑到原有建筑结构带来的封闭性，在设计手法及材料选用上以简洁明快为出发点，释放原有空间格局中的压抑感，通过格栅、玻璃棉、家具立柜等手段划分平面，使得室内空间隔而不断，更为舒朗通透、材料上与建筑外立面相互呼应，将竹编木构这种当地传统建构元素融入室内装饰，墙面多数采用竹饰面板，地板则考虑使用竹木复合板。整体以竹为饰面，配合竹艺装饰摆件，营造一个淳朴自然的文创场所，回归匠人本真。正如匠造所根植于本土而面向于未来，设计上同样将现代工业化的手段用于传统材料元素，老材料新用，老材料活用，激发传统在新时代的活力，将匠人精神贯穿于始终。
